Contact Juggling Workshop
Contact juggling is one of the most beautiful, but also most demanding, arts of the juggling world. Invented by Michael Moschen, contact juggling has fascinated many of us – for example in Jim Henson’s Labyrinth.
Immerse yourself in the magical world of contact juggling – and discover how a simple ball can become an instrument of expression, flow, and wonder. The seemingly weightless movements of the ball as it glides across hands, arms, and body appear almost magical – and yet they can be learned.
In this workshop, which will last about 45 minutes, we will begin with a short warm-up and then go through the basic movements. We will also look at particular aspects such as correct posture and which movements are, so to speak, larger variations of the basic moves, and more.
This workshop also makes perfect sense for complete beginners. Please note: it is not a children’s course. However, children from about 12 years old should be fine.
You are very welcome to get in touch via e-mail to orga@historica-festival.de to register, but of course you can also just come by spontaneously. The maximum number of participants is 10 people.
